John Lawson Advisors Florida

John Lawson is the Executive Director of One by One Leadership Foundation of Southwest Florida. He is a graduate of Eckerd College with a degree in Psychology and additional course work from USF and UF. John has lived in Collier County since 1967 and has served in a variety of salaried and volunteer positions in the not-for- profit sector over the last 30 years with an emphasis on Human Rights Advocacy and Development. Mr. Lawson has served as the Executive Director for Community Outreach for the Guadalupe Center, Executive Director of TECH /Step by Step. He serves as an Elder and Deacon of the Moorings Presbyterian Church and is currently on the Board of Beth-el Ministries migrant outreach services. John mentors youth at Immokalee High School and leads Bible study groups in the local jails. John is a 1996 Graduate of Leadership Collier and is married to Amy Lawson, 2006 Golden Apple Recipient. They live in Golden Gate Estates and have two children who are both going into the education field.
